The BK-2 is a knife for the real heavy duty knife user. Solidly made out of tool steel, not sissy stainless. Stainless steel looks pretty for women and kids, but it will not sharpen up or hold an edge as well as the tool steel in this blade. The blade is 1/4" thick, very strong and full tang in the handle. You could use this knife to break-down an elk and then chop firewood with it and go shave your old lady's legs with it. No need for a razor or a hatchet when you have this bad boy.
