Bought this to go with the Victorinox 8" chef knife, also purchased on Amazon. Fit like a glove and very sturdy and safe. I've used it for several months and like the piece of mind that no one will reach into the drawer and cut themselves on this very sharp knife. Purchased a cheaper brand that was a sleeve-type and knife did not fit right.
