I have a German Shepard mix with a huge bark. For years we have been trying different techniques to get her to stop barking when people walk past the house, ring the doorbell or knock on the door. Once she starts barking, she won't stop until the person is completely out of sight. As soon as we put the collar on her the barking stopped. The first few times someone came to the door, she would bark once, then stop. Now, she doesn't bark at all...with or without the collar.
