I've owned (and do own) several multitools, Gerber, Victorinox, Leatherman, assorted other brands. The skeletool beats them all for several reasons. I do not like the serrated blades simply because they are a pain to sharpen. I like the skeletool because it's light, it's got good pliers with wire cutters and one essential difference with all the others...the screwdriver bits are interchangeable. If you use your multitool, and carry it with you all the time then you know what it's like when the cheesy phillips head strips
(Gerber especially) and then you're stuck. With the skeletool, you can get replacement bits. This thing is light enough to carry all the time so that you're prepared for whatever, and 'whatever' occurs more than most people think. A four pound multitool isn't much use if you don't have it when you need it.
